The YW started to decorate our Branch bulletin board….so it will look nicer!! Here are our little working bees at action…..
Preparándose para la recaudación de fondos!-Getting Ready for the Fundraiser
Tuvimos nuestra actividad de recaudación de fondos para las Mujeres/Hombres jóvenes de este año. Las mujeres jóvenes cocinaron unos pay de queso y bollitos… nos juntamos en la casa de la hermana Reta…. La mama de la hermana Reta dono de su tiempo y algunas cosas para que las jóvenes pudieran vender en el “carnaval de la amistad” las jóvenes estuvieron súper bien… ellas estaban despiertas y dispuestas desde la mañanita!!
We had our fundraiser for the YW and YM for this year. The YW cook some cheese cakes and cupcakes.. we were at Sister Reta’s home. Sister Reta’s mom donated time and goodies for the girls to sell at the “friendship carnival” the girls did great… they were up and running early on the morning!

La actividad fue todo un éxito.. tuvimos muchísimo apoyo de los miembros de la Rama y también de la estaca también.. Se vendió Carne Asada, pozole, taquitos al vapor, quesadillas, sincronizadas, tamales, elotes, pay de queso, pastel, chocó flan, bollitos, aguas frescas, y refrescos. También tuvimos un tanque de agua en el cual apostaban para tirar a alguien del agua… eso estuvo súper divertido.. Hno. Muñoz, Hno. Rivera, Hno. Domínguez, Hno. Portillo, Pte. Powell, los mojaron en el tanque.. lo bueno que fue por una buena causa. Creo que todo fue un buen trabajo en equipo,
Aquí me gustaría aprovechar para agradecer el comité de actividades y todos aquellos que cooperaron y apoyaron esta actividad.. también a mis concejeras que ayudaron y apoyaron a los jóvenes con su tiempo y dedicación.. Gracias muchas Gracias!!!
The activity was a total success.. we had a lot of support from the members of the branch as well as the stake members… We sold Carne Asada, pozole, taquitos al vapor, quesadillas, sincronizadas, tamales, elotes, cheese cake, cake, chocóflan, cup cakes, aguas frescas and sodas. We also had a water tank, we had people that paid to have some one on the stand… it was super fun…Bro. Muñoz, Bro. Rivera, Bro. Dominguez, Bro. Portillo, Pte. Powell they all got wet on the tank. The good thing is that it was for a good cause…I think our success was do to the good team work.
I would like to thank the activities committee and all of those who put in their time and effort.. I would like to thank also my counselors that help and support our girls with their time and dedication… Thank you.. Thank you!!!
